Affordable, light weight, rugged and easy to use the PV-1072 gives you a clear and instant go / no-go report on the quality of your barcode. Equally at home in the Q.A. lab, print room, warehouse or production line the PV-1072 allows you access to accurate barcode verification wherever you are.

Designed principally for use in the retail supply chain the PV-1072 verifies a wide range of barcodes including EAN-8, EAN 13, UPC-A & UPC-E with or without addons.

All barcodes are verified to the latest ISO/ANSI & GS1 standards and results can be printed directly to an optional printer or transferred to your PC to print on your desktop printer.

The PV-1072 can save/print the text file results of the verification (the 1072 does not have the facility to save the scan files so the PV-1072 read head cannot be used in conjunction with Axicon professional software for PC or Mac to provide more detailed information).

Printed verification reports can be obtained either by using a standard serial (RS232) printer or by transferring the saved data to a PC through the use of a USB memory stick and then printing from the PC.

An Optional protective rubber boot is also available if a higher level of protection is required.

For the more price-conscious user who does not have an existing verifier and has a need to only verify the physically smaller barcodes, the PV-1072 provides the ideal solution.

The most versatile option is available by using an existing Axicon 6000, 6500 or 7000 series verifier (with a USB connector) and simply purchasing a PV-1000 Portable Display and Collection unit. In this way the user has the full capability of a PC/Mac based verifier - but with the option to just unplug the verifier from the computer and plug it into the PV-1000 for full portability and flexibility.

The PV-1000 can save both a text file of the verification results and also the scan file (which can be uploaded if required into the Axicon PC software).
