The MS15 is ergonomic, easy to handle and
extremely practical, even when used with one hand only. It features an internal
architecture which is open to the universally renowned and widespread world of
the portable computer.
Its DOS operating system, in unison with the
available development system, enables application programs to be developed in
‘C’ language exactly as if it were a normal P.C. using all the most
widespread commercially available compilers.
According to the different application
requirements, the MS15 always proves itself to be the most suitable terminal
thanks to its modularity and configuration possibilities. Externally, the
keyboard can be numerical or alpha-numerical, but in any case, all keys can be
reset via software.
Maximum flexibility is obtained through the
choice of available memory. An additional RAM-disk of 1, 2 or 4 Mbytes can be
added to the basic version which offers 1 Mbytes of RAM divisible in various
ways between working RAM and RAM-disk.
The user can further benefit from the high
battery autonomy which ensures MS15 terminal functioning for an entire day of
intense work before re-charging is required. Both data transmission and battery
re-charging is carried out via optical interface, thus eliminating all problems
caused by electrical contact wear.
