Metallic Gold and Metallic Silver are NOT suitable for barcodes directly - because they are too reflective. But you can use a white ribbon to print a white background for the bar code; although this involves 3 printing steps (full colour, white, black) it is not that expensive and the results are very impressive.
Yellow, red, blue, black cards are also available - but usually only for printing using black or white ribbon (or other contrasting single colour ribbon).
Smartcards (chip cards) are also available.
